ABOUT US

TWE is a 42-member adult “wind symphony” that provides the Triangle’s most talented avocational wind and percussion players with an opportunity to explore and to share an exciting range of music with audiences in both formal and informal settings. Our repertory includes transcriptions of orchestral classics, original compositions for wind-band, small-ensemble pieces, popular medleys and arrangements, and holiday or patriotic music for special occasions. TWE’s vibrant performances and innovative programs have earned both critical praise and popular appreciation throughout North Carolina.

As we celebrate our twelfth season, we welcome new Music Director Evan Feldman for what is certain to be an exciting and fulfilling year of music.
